Booking a Party:
We recommend you book 4 to 6 weeks in advance. Reservations will be held for 4 days. To fully secure a date, we require a deposit of $100.00. We take cash, check, money order, or Master Card / Visa / ATM Debit (Pay Pal)
Party packages include roundtrip travel within a 25-mile radius from my home in Paso Robles, Ca. 93446
A travel fee of .65 cents per mile is charged for travel beyond this 25-mile zone. This charge is necessary to cover the extra gas, time and vehicle wear and tear. We also usually need to bring two vehicles to transport our characters, assistants, hostesses and equipment. Mileage is determined via Google Maps (www.maps.google.com).
Gratuities are not included in the package pricing, and are always greatly appreciated by your characters, party assistants or hostesses.
Party packages include the Birthday Girl and seven (7) guests for a total of 8 children. You will be charged $15 for each additional child after 8 attendants. There is a maximum of 12 children per party. If your party has between 9 and 12 guests, an extra party hostess is required for a $60 charge.
The Opening of Gifts During the Event:
In order to have time for all of the special activities included in these theme oriented dress-up parties, we ask that you save the opening of the birthday child's gifts for after the event is over. We provide you with a custom form for recording gifts and who they are from with the appropriate mailing address for each party guest. If you have thank you notes included with your party package, the mailing addresses will already be labeled on the envelopes.
If you prefer to open the gifts during the party, we can accomodate you with extra time allotted at a discounted rate of $15.00 per 15 minute increment. We understand that this is a fun and exciting time for everyone and it is understandable if you desire to have this included during your party.
Eight (8) personalized theme-oriented invitations are included. We'll even mail them for you at no charge! If you require additional invitations over 8, there is a $1 per invitation charge. All you'll have to do is email the guest list TO: email@example.com , specifying the mailing address and /or email address of each parent, as well as the telephone number of the guest's parent(s)-- we'll take care of the printing, personalizing, and mailing the invitations for you! Some party packages include matching thank you notes and envelopes. You will be delighted that they are also labeled with the guest's mailing address with your return address label on each envelope.
Final Count and RSVP Policy:
Your guests will need to R.S.V.P. online at our website (www.onefinedayelegantevents.com) within 5 days before the party date. This will be the number used to plan appropriate quantities of costumes, accessories, crafts, activities and food (if applicable). This final count includes the Birthday Child. If a guest is included in the final count and does not attend, unfortunately we cannot provide a refund. Parents are welcome to stay and enjoy the party; however, they should not be included in the final count. In addition, we will not be able to accommodate unexpected guests/siblings.
Cancellations and Refunds:
One Fine Day Inc. will refund your deposit, minus a $50.00 cancellation fee, provided you cancel your reservation at least three weeks prior to the scheduled party date. If you cancel for any reason within three weeks of your party, your $100.00 deposit is non-refundable as we turn down other events to save your date as well as prepare for your event by purchasing needed supplies for crafts, favors. etc.... If you need to reschedule, we will gladly work with you to determine an alternative party date, based on availability. If you need to re-send invitations, there will be an additional charge.
Arrival and Departure Times:
“One Fine Day Inc.” Hostess and assistant will be at your location for up to 4 or 5 hours. This includes up to one hour to set up, hosting a two or three hour party, and approximately 30-45 minutes to clean up and break-down. Guests should arrive promptly at the time specified on the invitation. Extended-hours parties can be accommodated if arrangements are made in advance. We appreciate your consideration and understanding. If your party goes over the accommodated time limit because of late guests or activities that were added to the party without prior planning…a $15.00 per 15 minute increment will be charged to pay the party hostess, and assistant(s) for their time.
Liability for Damage:
“One Fine Day Inc.” Party Hostess and assistants will treat your home with utmost respect, and provide professional service. “One Fine Day Inc,” assumes no responsibility or liability for accidents or damage caused by party guests. We appreciate your assurance to ensure that our assets are treated gently, carefully, and with respect. As the client, you will be held financially liable for any damage incurred to “One Fine Day Inc.” assets while we are on-site at your location.
Allergies and Special Diets:
It is very important for you to inquire whether any of your party guests have a food allergy (peanut, wheat, dairy, just to name a few). If any of your party guests have food allergies, “One Fine Day Inc.” will do its best to be accommodating. Please notify us no later than five (5) business days prior to the party if special arrangements are necessary. If a guest has severe food allergies, we recommend that you or the child's parent provide an alternate treat for the child. “One Fine Day Inc.” is not responsible for allergic reactions or any other medical reaction stemming from the planned menu, wearing of costumes or any activity that takes place before, during or after the event. "One Fine Day Inc." assumes no liability for any injury that comes from any activity taken place before, during and/or after the party. You, as the client are responsible for all of your guests during your event. In the case of liability and/or financial remuneration due to the aforementioned, the responsibility lies strictly with the client.
